Listers Up Their Game in Stoke!
Lister Trade Frames have become official partners of Premier League Stoke City Football Club. And just like Stoke City, Listers have been enjoying a rise in popularity and performance due to their continued hard work and team performance.
Although Listers have been supporters of Stoke City for several years and enjoyed using their hospitality at games, they recently took the decision to enter into a 2 year partnership with the club as part of Listers long term marketing strategy.
The partnership will see the Listers brand and their Building Plastics division, ‘The BIG Trade Counter’, featured at each match by means of LED pitch-side adverts, pre and post-match interview backdrops and seen by millions on Sky TV and terrestrial channels.
Mark Warren, Listers Managing Director, says that he is already seeing the benefits of this decision: “We are only a few weeks into the season and we have already gained opportunities to talk with potential new business customers simply because they were made more aware of Listers by seeing the Brand featured on programs like Match of the Day. I have to admit that seeing our name there on the TV as the Stoke, Manchester United and Chelsea Managers are interviewed is quite surreal, but it really is working.”
Listers have also enhanced their Premier League match advertising by partnering with their local radio station, Signal, for all live game commentaries. While Listers have built an enviable national reputation over the last 35 years they believe that focusing on their local market will bring even bigger benefits.
“Many of our local customers are builders, joiners, window fitters, roofers and the like and a large proportion of them support Stoke City, go to the matches or watch them on TV. So we saw this marketing strategy as a great way to reinforce the Listers Brand to existing and potential customers.” Says Mark.
One thing is for sure; even if they have been around for 35 years, Listers are never content to stand still. They are always looking for new ways to promote and grow their business and this new partnership deal with Stoke City Football Club is certainly getting them noticed.
