Listers Invests in New Site
“The new site’s a huge step forward,” says Mark Warren, “there’s a massive car park with easy access, a covered loading bay, and extra space for our huge stock-holding. For the installer that means same-day delivery and faster turn-around.”
The new trade counter opened on May 5th to an enthusiastic response from installers. They came close to testing the new car park’s capacity as they loaded up with windows, doors, conservatories, building plastics, bacon, coffee and tea. Entertainment was provided by the PickABox game that rewarded purchases with prizes from Pink Grip to digital radios, and the first customer of the day received his order free of charge.
“We wanted to build something really special,” says Mark, “The new counter looks fantastic, we are fully stocked and the service is better than ever. And thankfully, the feedback from our customers tells us we’ve got it right.”
Despite the recession it’s great to see that companies like Listers are still investing in their business and their customers.
