Lister Trade Frames presented with two new awards by BM TRADA
Firstly, Certification for achieving PAS23 and PAS24 on their range of inward and outward opening Gallery Composite Doors. Secondly, For a new ‘A’ and ‘B’ Energy Rated BFRC window combination.
Gallery doors have just passed their first anniversary, having been launched at Glassex 2006. The doors which are made in partnership with Bowater Halo, Thermaseal and Listers, have achieved their goal of being at the quality end of the composite door market, being made from 70mm profiles, dual rebated and factory glazed with a wide range of 28mm decorative sealed units.
Now, at Glassex 2007, the Gallery Collection has underlined their quality by achieving the coveted PAS23 and PAS24 awards for enhanced security, endurance and weather ratings. What is even more impressive is that the whole range has been put through this rigorous testing rather than just a single door design.
Gallery Composite Door customers now benefit from excellent manufacturing and delivery plus they have the confidence that the range has passed the highest testing available in the industry. We believe that this gives our customers an additional sales advantage when offering the Gallery Range.
Listers were the first Trade Supplier to have a domestic ‘A’ Energy Rated installation in the UK. This wasn’t just a marketing exercise. Listers are dedicated to improving the thermal efficiency and availability of these environmentally friendly windows. Although they achieve regular sales of their triple glazed ‘A’ rated windows the high cost has been a detrimental factor in expanding their accessibility. That is until now:
Having worked closely with Bowater Halo, their profile supplier, Listers have now achieved a low cost ‘A’+1 Double Glazed option which they believe will bring this highly energy efficient window well within the reach of the public and at a much more realistic trade price.
The 28mm double glazed ‘A’+1 window is constructed with a thermally insulated sleeve in the profiles reinforcing chambers. The sealed units are a combination of low iron and Planitherm Total glasses, warmedge spacer and argon gas filling.
Listers hard work in attaining this new BFRC Window Energy Rating will be a major boost to their customer base who will benefit from having an industry leading, environmentally friendly product at an industry leading low cost.
